Location: Munich (hybrid 2-3 office days)

About the client and role

Our client is a global leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, The company is looking for a Key Account Manager to be responsible for sales, and business development, with OEM experience.

Responsibilities

• Development of customer relations
• Business development
• Enhancing and optimising the company’s brand image
• Build product development
• Support the company’s product strategy according to the needs and requirements of the market.
• Provide continuous evaluation of market trends and the company’s positioning in relation to these trends.
• Responsibility for customer relations and communication.
• Sales administration (orders, invoicing requests, support in managing outstanding payments, etc.).

Skills and Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in lighting or electronics
• Solid sales background, ideally coming from engineering or program management.
• They should have a good network of customers and suppliers within the market.
• Must show traits of an open mind, forward thinking, strong communication skills, motivational skills, and be independent, dynamic, and adaptable.
• Ideally someone with a hunter mentality, used to going out and winning business.
