Job title: Global Account Manager UK OEMs
Location: Midlands, UK (Hybrid)
About the client and role
Our client is a global leading Tier 1 automotive supplier. Is looking for a Global Account Manager UK OEMs to be responsible for business development, commercial management and follow-up.
- Development of customer relations in terms of innovation, engineering and style.
- Enhancing and optimising the company’s brand image, both internally and with third parties (product branding and setting up and implementing marketing events with OEMs: Techshow, Night Drive, etc.)
- Support the company’s product strategy in order to target and achieve an optimised implementation in the heart of the market, according to the needs and requirements of the market.
- Provide continuous evaluation of market trends and the company’s positioning in relation to these trends.
- Commercial and technical benchmark.
- Responsibility for customer relations and communication.
- Acquisition of new programs.
- Identification of opportunities to feed the business plan, and definition of appropriate strategies.
- Coordinating responses to Request For Quotations (RFQ)
- Commercial negotiation
- Commercial follow-up of projects in development.
- Management of modifications during the project with the objective of improving the profitability of the projects.
- Negotiation of material price evolution related to the inflations, and management of any disputes encountered (particularly regarding volume).
- Negotiation of commercial and technical productivity, and follow-up of piece price amortisation.
- Support in the resolution of logistical and quality incidents.
- Sales administration (orders, invoicing requests, support in managing outstanding payments, etc.).
Skills and Qualifications
- Perfect knowledge of usual Microsoft office tools (excel, PowerPoint)
- English fluent
- Engineering degree or relevant technical background
